"a little fermented curd will do the trick,"

Our story

Moving to Sturbridge in the spring of 2020 and a new found desire the explore, Julia and her family were quickly reminded of the culinary bounty of New England. On every town square, country parking lot, farmstead and farm stand we stopped, gathered and ate. We found community, and made new friends. Inspired to roll up her sleeves and get to work, Julia created something, as she always had, to share with others.

Our small menu reflects the seasonality of New England. It will change with more frequency in the months ahead. We can’t wait to start working with our local farms and friends soon.

We hope you’ll join us.

But what about the cheese?

I thought I forgot something……….

Mystified and enchanted by cheese, a passion for eating all of the goodies she could get out hands on turned into serious business.

Our rotating selection of cheeses reflects our food philosophy in supporting local makers and farmers. Sharing in their glory, we have also collected some of our favorite imports. From the bloomy, creamy, hard, gooey and funky we have hand selected something for everyone.
